Grime & Twisted Sister

The Village Voice chimes in on the grime phenomenon.

Saturday night is the first night of the Jewish holiday, Passover. Dee Snider and JJ French of Twisted Sister are celebrating with Scott Ian of Anthrax, live on VH1.

Dizzee Rascal is a popular male Grime artist. He's on tour, and plays Irving Plaza in NYC Saturday night

I saw Twisted Sister perform as Bent Brother at (the now closed) Lamour in Brooklyn (1 or 2 years ago - I actually have pictures somewhere.)

Pitchfork defines Grime

Lady Sovereign is a popular female Grime artist. Fluxblog's MP3 post today has a Lady Sovereign remix, and a mashup of The Rapture's Sister Savior with Mobb Deep's Got it Twisted ("Twisted Sister") (actually no relation to the Dee Snider fronted band)
