The Fiery Furnaces @ Webster Hall, NYC | Pics
I was upset when the Saturday night (April 9th, 2005) Fiery Furnaces show got moved from Bowery Ballroom to Webster Hall, but it turned out not bad at all. In fact, it turned out really, really good. I don't know how they (remember how to) play so many songs in a row without a break, and the new stuff sounded great.

I was initially upset that I missed the smaller Northsix show Thursday night. It ends up I picked the right Fiery Furnaces show, though strangely Bloc Party was also off on Thursday night.
They were danceable, a bit campy, somewhat dark and sexy as all hell.
Saturday's show ranks somewhere in the middle of my live Furnaces experiences.
The Webster Hall show kicked the ba-liztex outta Thighsday's show at N6.
