The Hold Steady @ Bowery Ballroom, NYC | Pics
The Hold Steady opened for Eagles of Death Metal at Bowery Ballroom Tuesday, April 5th, 2005. Their new album, Separation Sunday, comes out on May 3rd. I have a copy, and I love it. Their live show is good too. On May 19th, they'll be headlining Bowery Ballroom. Tickets are on sale for that.
It's impossible to talk about singer Craig Finn, and not bring up a Jello Biafra comparison. Throw in some old Springsteen for good measure. Finn told the crowd that "it’s good to be back in a bar band."
