CBGB to DEFINITELY Close??
We've been following the possible closing of CBGB for a while. No one has said anything about the club definitely closing yet. So what does the Georgia State University Newspaper know that we don't know?
"Now, due to the inability of the owner to pay $38,000 a month in rent while still maintaining the reasonable beer and ticket prices and giving untried acts a shot at the spotlight, CBGB’s will shut down at the end of February or the beginning of March. No exact date has been announced for a final show, perhaps intentionally"
In the meantime, Life of Agony is playing there.
