Im glad that they are ambitious. Im sure it is possible a band could be as good as The Beatles or U2. But better than Mozart? They should really listen to Marriage of Figaro or Cosi Fan Tutte as examples. Only Schubert, since Mozart, has written such beautiful vocal music.
