Love is Stronger Than Death (Lisa Marie Presley & Angela McCluskey)
A LISA MARIE PRESLEY FAN @ THE SUPPER CLUB IN NYC
Spending eight hours a week compiling shows happening in NYC for no money has a few benefits. I get the occasional free ticket to a show like Lisa Marie Presley and Angela McCluskey at the Supper Club (May 10th, 2005). Would I want to go to this show if it wasn't free? Yeah (I'm completely in love with Angela McCluskey). Would I actually spend the $32.50 + ticketbastard charges to go to Times Square on a Tuesday evening to see this show? No.

Last time I saw Angela Mcluskey @ the no-longer-in-existence Fez, Craig Wedren sang backup on "Love is Stronger Than Death." Last night it was the song Angela chose to close her set. I found out today it was originally by The The, and I'm loving the original as much as I love the cover.

I enjoy reading your music posts (particularly for news about presales for shows), but what happened to the veggie/animal posts? I actually started reading this blog for your vegan-related posts...don't get me wrong, I like the music news, but your loyal vegan readers want more than music! :)

Our new video site launches have almost sold through all offered text links. Many are set not to go "live" until the sites are fully launched -- some are currently still in soft launch. We'd like to have all links wrapped up by Friday the 27th, and you can decide whether you want them live right away, or not until the sites are 100% launched, which will be July 1.
