The Hold Steady are Really Popular

Pitchfork gave Separation Sunday an 8.7 today (which is even .7 higher than their last album).

The Village Voice declares them Brooklyn's best band

I declare Separation Sunday my latest addiction.

Yesterday I posted more links and MP3s.

now you just need to check out Lifter Puller ;)

Soft Rock is a great compilation to get into their stuff.

That Village Voice article is AMAZINGLY awful.

I liked him better when we was fronting Lifter Puller. The arrangements were never this predictable as they are with The Hold Steady. It's funny, Pitchfork is all over thier nuts now, but they rated Fiesta's and Fiascos as one the the lowest ratings ever. It's the same lyrics as now. And that album to me is far better than anything The Hold Steady is doing now.
