Bridget Jones' Diarrhea
God I hate that name... Central Village pointed me to this Loose Record post by Good Times Roll:
"Wait, there was a point here… Oh yes, the point is, there is a special secret band (a la The Ligers) playing the Mercury Lounge this July. They are doing a residency, but only one show is currently up on their web calendar, (this was my understanding, but don't sleep on these tickets, because I could be wrong). Anyway, I'm not going to 'cut' to the chase, but the hint is they are Gay, Danceable and Super Fun. They can play venues 10 times the size of the Mercury Lounge. If you can't figure it out from there then you need a shot in your nonexistent nuts. I can lead you to whiskey, but you have to drink it. They are playing under the moniker Bridgette Jones' Diarrhea. Tickets are available on Ticketweb, but hustle up because they will sell out soon. This is a perfect reason to break a summer sweat."
ALREADY SOLD OUT, but as Central Village suggests, try the box office.
(and note: all links above added by me, and I actually do not know who the secret band is...THOUGH I HOPE I'M RIGHT)
