David Byrne says some musicians should not perform

"Sometimes their recorded music is so good and innovative you wonder why they think they have to be a performer too. They don’t." - David Byrne (on his blog) (via Prefixblog & Boing Boing)

David Byrne definitely likes M.I.A. on record. I wonder what he thought of her performance last night. We know he thinks the Arcade Fire should perform.
