Kelly Osbourne "So who cares if music snobs call her a fraud? When the new wave is this hot, there's always room at the disco for another high-drama diva overcoming her demons" - The Village Voice

Stylus declares "Sleeping in the Nothing" the CD of the week with an A- rating...
"Having already wrenched pathos and heart-stopping pop-rock product out of Pink, Courtney Love, Christina Aguilera and Gwen Stefani, Perry’s finally found her perfect combination of blank slate and 48-font tabloid headline in metal’s faithless, famous-for-being-famous princess."

"Regardless of your thoughts on the young Osbourne, this will be on several "guilty pleasures" lists come year-end." - liveDaily

I first saw the video for "One Word" about a month or two ago on Muchmusic in Canada, and shit, was I surprised to find out it was Kelly Osbourne. Decent song...sorta reminds me of Ladytron but with a more straightforward electro-pop sound.

I sampled the CD at Virgin Records. A "guilty pleasure"? Ugh, yes! Of course expect nothing like her previous album, which sucked!

I read a good review of this album in a magazine, and I thought, alright, this ones gonnna be on the top 40. Then I read another good review in Maxim. So I got a copy of the album, and its great. Its instantly palatable, and if you keep listening, it really never gets bad. I think you could probably stick this in the C.D. player at a party and get raves on how hip and unique it is. Then tell 'em who is singing. I think this one is a sleeper (Cult following, then more mainstream success).
