* Nellie "Queen of Benefits" McKay has two benefit shows coming up.
1. The first one (which was yesterday, so I guess it's not coming up) costs between $300 & $20,000 (not bad) a ticket, includes performances by the cast of Hurlyburly & Avenue Q, some dancing, and singing by John Cullum.
2. The second one is tomorrow (June 15th). It's at the CUNY Graduate Center and only costs $15.

* Lisa Loeb. I was just talking about her. What are the chances? Tomorrow (June 15th) Lisa is performing at B.B. Kings between 6-8:30 PM to benefit Safe Space. This one will only set you back $150. (Or you can see her two days later.)

* "Jason Loewenstein (of Sebadoh), Northern State, Supagroup, and DJs Eugene Hutz (of Gogol Bordello), Fancy (of Fannypack), and Tommie Sunshine to perform at Village Voice Union Strike Fund Benefit!"

* Regina Spektor is playing a benefit show too.
