I like it. It is no unicorn but you can't compare art I guess. Still, addicting sound, edgy vocals and many, many more adjectives like its predecessor The Unicorns.

i was in love with the unicorns which i had recently discovered, and had even more recently learned and been dissapointed of their death. then, i went to a Metric concert. and this band, i had never heard of called islands was their opener. i was struck by how much they reminded me of the unicorns, and i loved them so i bought a cd. it wasnt until later that week that i learned that the unicorns had REINCARNATED as ISLANDS, who, by some wonderful coincidence, ened up playing a show i had chosen to go to. i was so pleased that i had seen them, and that i had bought the cd (return to the sea). they are a pretty awesome band live as well as recorded, and i think the death of the unicorns, though tragic, has made way for a new branch to grow out of the unique tree trunk genre of music that nick and jamie had created. islands is wonderful.

Island's "return to the sea" is a must.
