Tickets went on sale (ALREADY?!?!) for the two New Pornographers / Destroyer / Immaculate Machine shows at Webster Hall IN OCTOBER. (thx drewo)
Here are all the New Porn tour dates.
Tickets to the National show at Bowery Ballroom on September 9th have been on sale for at least a week. So far this NYC show is the only U.S. date listed on their website, and an opener hasn't been announced. Pitchfork may have given us a hint on more dates and the opener: "In September they will play throughout the U.S. opening for the National."
The National recently played two sold-out nights (one with Pela) at Mercury Lounge in NYC. Salon music blogger Thomas Bartlett was there. He said "the National took to the stage and proceeded to completely blow my mind with as thrilling and transcendent a rock show as I have ever seen."
