This Week's NYC Shows Posted

Tonight is Movable Hype. I love Clap Your Hands Say Yeah's new album. What genius booked Feist the same night as New Pornographers, Sadies, and Stars' free show in Prospect Park? Gonna have to miss Mary Timony too. Emiliana Torrini is back in town. That stuff and more in this week's music picks posted at Gothamist (and before noon too!).

"Saturday - 25th

Spend the day overlooking the East River and listening to good music. Spend the evening at Prospect Park (see above), and spend the night at Southpaw for the Jelly afterparty with 33 Hz."

That's exactly what I'm planning on doing...wish I could catch Bella Lea though, because Ms. Davis is smoking hot... :p

Clap Your Hands Say Yeah is also doing Southpaw on July 20th, for those missing out tonight (like me).

Saw this on Ticketweb.

If I had tickets to the Irving Plaza show, I'd sell them and go to this instead.

6/27 Ted Leo Pharmacists plus Radio 4 - Maxwell's
(tickets on sale at ticketweb)
