Tix on sale for Clap Your Hands Say Yeah @ Merc

The new reality is that these tickets will sell out (even if Scissor Sisters weren't headlining - JUST A GUESS).

my guess is yes. Don't know for sure, but...
Scissor Sisters are playing under fake names the previous 2 Wednesdays.
It was leaked as a "residency"
Portion Control? Plus tix are pricey @ $15 (same price as the previous 2 weeks).

i think all the ss shows have the dj sammy guy with them and the band names are a lil more ridiculous and over the top.

tidbit: there actually is a real band called "Complete Portion Control." they have ties to Guided by Voices.

SS are probably referencing the obscure and, apparently, legendary band. No way is Clap Your Hands playing with some atmospheric band.

clap your hands fuckin blows. one of the worst bands. i dont get why people talk about them at all. can someone explain? they aren't even popular. who started hyping this band?

they put out a descent album. i don't know about great. but they are a good enough band to be talked about a little. :)
