Arcade Fire. Bowie, & Shakira @ Radio City?
"On Thursday, September 8, Condé Nast Media Group will host the second annual FASHION ROCKS at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. This star-studded night of style and sound will include performances by artists David Bowie, Destiny’s Child, Duran Duran, Billy Idol, Alicia Keys, Tim McGraw, Nelly, Shakira, Gwen Stefani, Joss Stone, The Arcade Fire, and Rob Thomas." not sure i like the idea of it. i'd hope the only reason AF are doing it is because of Bowie...

You shouldnt listen to the word on the street. Listen for complete sentences or even short phrases instead.

i saw bowie at radio city for the gq awards show, as he was being honoured, but I have to say it was bollocks, having to be privy to all the uninitiated, the ones that go for the fashionista and solely for that, and with the rest of the vapid picks on this billing, will it be worth it to pay over 100 quid to see him sing 3 songs? it i will be on the telly the night after, i think its a better option, maybe duran duran could bring a kitsch factor after all, but then again i am sure you all as well as myself shudder everytime they refer to them as the glamourous sex pistols, cheers.,

I for one am excited about this event. I'm going to see Bowie for the second time. This will be his first return to the stage since his heart problem that ended his last tour ('A Reality Tour').
