fuct

I just figured out that I haven't done a proper backup of anything on my computer in about 18 months. I always tell myself, "you really need to back up all your pictures and music and stuff." Above photo of my home computer that no longer starts as of last night.

Did you jiggle the cord?

If you're really curious if you can recover it ASAP, get an USB 2.0 IDE Hard Drive Enclosure and see if you can still recover the stuff from the drive. You should be able to get one for less than $50 at CompUSA. If you have a laptop ask them if they have one for a notebook hd. Plug it in to another pc and pray it's recoverable.

or you could buy a mac with OSX and say goodbye to all those registry problems forever. that's what i did last year... never been happier.
