Big Summer Classic Moved to Prospect Park
The Thursday July 21st "Big Summer Classic" concert in Brooklyn featuring the String Cheese Incident, Keller Williams, Yonder Mountain String Band, Michael Franti & Spearhead, Umphrey's McGee, and New Monsoon moved from Keyspan Park in Coney Island to the bandshell in Prospect Park. Get tickets or sit outside the fence for free.
Thanks to the Outer Edges whose latest podcast features a track by the String Cheese Incident and Perry Ferrel.

Ah the beauty of touring jambands, they follow you and you can't escape them. But alas it could be worse, they could be boy bands or lip syncing teenage girls.

Even Jambands have their moments. I think I might just sit outside the fence Thursday evening with a blanket, a good book, and a jug of wine.

note the time the doors open: 1:00. I think someone told me the show starts at 3:00. Six bands though.
