i don't know about bright eyes being the secret saddle creek guest. Why wouldn't they just headline it? also, saddle creek promised a surprise guest last year and I remember it being someone I had never heard of. Probably a placeholder for the fact that they know someone will probably be added last minute or stop by.

Subpop's website lists the following as the complete CMJ showcase on Sat 9/17 at Bowery:

Wolf Parade, Chad VanGaalen, Holopaw, Fruit Bats, Kinski, Rogue Wave, and Constantines

That's a big one, gotta get tix!

Touch and Go showcase will be at S.O.B.'s on 9/16 - !!!, Supersystem, and CocoRosie.

That is going to be one hell of a show. Conflict with the Merge showcase. :O

the narnack showcase is supposedly going to be on September 16 at ivring Plaza and from the proosed lineup I saw it look pretty cool.
