Check out my blog for what I had to say about Hard-Fi.

So far I like 'em. They have a a bit of a polished sound that might drive away some indie fans, but their music's pretty catchy still.

i thought hard-fi were great - a definite must-see at rothko tonight, if i didn't already have other plans. i hadn't heard any of their records prior to the show but to my ears they recalled the best bits of the last three blur albums, from the shouty vocals to the melodica on their (really-quite-good) cover of "seven nation army". as far as first NY shows of hyped british bands go, i thought it was better than the kaiser chiefs but not as good as the libertines.
