National/CYHSY @ Warsaw (Brooklyn) tix on sale
The first show on the National / Clap Your Hands Say Yeah tour in September is at Warsaw in Brooklyn on September 7th, 2005. Tickets are on sale.
Their show two days later (same night as Bloc Party at Roseland) at Bowery Ballroom is sold out.

CYHASY also mention tht they are playing on 9/16 with Ambulence Ltd as part of CMJ.

Interesting...that last Pitchfork news item said that they were going to be opening for The National on Fri 9/16, but now their website indicates that they are doing CMJ that night w/Ambulance LTD.

what is the size of warsaw in comparison to bowery?

I think Bowery is 500-550 people and Warsaw is like 800.

This worked out nicely...didn't get tix to the bowery show, got tix to the Warsaw show, and left the option open for Bloc Party.

are tickets available for the Warsaw show anywhere besides Ticketmaster's direct site? like Other Music or something? The Ticketmaster fee is exorbitant. Almost doubles the price.
