Strokes' Hammond Jr. & David Cross opening NYC Club
I read about David Cross opening a nightclub on the Lower East Side of Manhattan on Gothamist via Daily Refill. And a google search revealed this bit from July 7th's Page Six:
"Funnyman David Cross is getting into the nightclub business. The "Arrested Development" star is buying into Eleven, on Orchard Street, with Strokes guitarist Albert Hammond Jr. and two other pals. Cross' girlfriend, makeup artist Sara Egan, will manage the rock venue, which will be renamed and revamped. Eleven's current owner, Simon Ribok, will remain on board, as will GBH promoter Alejandro Torio, who owns a small percentage of the club. The three-level space has a reputation as a late-night hangout for Lower East Side bands like Interpol, Secret Machines and groupies who dig them."
