The Arcade Fire buy a Church, write for Bowie
"MTV.com reports the six-piece bought a small church in rural Quebec and plan to build a studio there. They will use the base to begin work on their second album later this fall."
"He said the band didn't yet know which songs will make it on the album, but they have plenty of material to choose from. Apart from live cuts such as "Winter For A Year," "Virgin Mary Highway" and "Burning Bridges, Breaking Hearts," the band also wrote a song for fan David Bowie." [ChartAttack]
