Bartender David Cross

David Cross at the bar

Last night I saw Kimya Dawson perform in the basement (that's where they have the shows) of Scenic in NYC. I noticed David Cross hanging out at the bar upstairs as I was exiting (pretty positive he was not there to see Kimya). Today I came across the above picture, taken by the soon-to-be-famous Mark the Cobra Snake, of David Cross bartending the very same bar a week-or-two earlier at the Shout Out Louds afterparty. And yes, this is the same club he DJ'd not long ago during the Brian Jonestown Massacre afterparty.

And...

I hope he was wearing the sox hat just to piss people off. If not, that's pretty lame.

Actually it was an animatronic version of David we've been testing for weeks! glad you guys liked him! we're working on a new version that will have lasers and will be designed specifically to take over the earth.
