Bell Orchestre | CMJ 2005

Bell Orchestre

As Pitchfork pointed out today in their “recommended” 7.8 review of “Recording a Tape the Colour of the Light,” Bell Orchestre is an Arcade Fire side project. “Bell Orchestre, led by the Arcade Fire’s Richard Reed Parry, sparks memories of critically maligned early-decade instrumentalists Ghosts & Vodka and Telegraph Melts– bands derided, in part, for their lack of distortion.”

* Some amazing pics of Final Fantasy and Bell Orchestre (you see 1 above)
* Chromewaves has a review and pics of a Belle Orchestre / Arcade Fire show from a year ago.
* Stereogum posted about BO recently too.
