I love the Furnances and I will probably attend this show however I think that town hall is a bad venue for them to play. They couldn't even get Webster hall moving. However whenever they play small venues the crowd is into it.

Shows at Town Hall always seem to be way overpriced too.

Town Hall is not for moving. It is for sitting and appreciating. I think they will be perfect there.

I guess I have never felt that the Fiery Furnance are a band you just sit and watch. I have seen them 5 times now and the best of those shows were when the crowd was moving and the band didn't stop playing. However perhaps these two new albums are made for a situation were the crowd just sits and listens (That is cool if it is indeed the case).

Yeah, I guess they'll be going for something different with this show. Even with the old stuff, I think it'll work tho.
