Black Mountain didn't make the Hold Steady show on Friday night. Now I feel less bad about missing it myself.

David Cross was there on Saturday. I missed that one too.

I thought Sam Champion was just awful.
An example of a band's name being better than the band. Attention aspiring bands: names really ARE important.

i thought that was cross. it was kinda tough b/c he had a hat on and a longer beard then i've seen him with. now i feel much better about my celeb spottin skills.

David Cross was there with (or at least standing with) Conan O'Brien writer/performer Andy Blitz on Friday, for what it's worth in the celebrity-spotting stakes.
