Levy @ Mercury Lounge, NYC | pics

Naturally all the hype (Verbose Coma called them “my new favorite band in the world.”) surrounding the NYC band Levy led me to check out their show at Mercury Lounge on Saturday night (August 27, 2005).

They sound like Coldplay. Sometimes they sound way too much like Coldplay. Maybe that’s why a commenter wrote “Like Coldplay, only without the guilt” in the Levy post I wrote a few weeks ago. Maybe.
