The September 1th Showcase looks great. I might have to hit it up early then head to the Sub pop Show case.

Does mercury lounge's half hour rule appy to cmj shows?
the arcade fire's definetly gonna be done before goblin cock come on, but will anybody be able to get in?

hmmmm...I would really like to see Chin Up Chin Up and Amusement Parks on Fire, but my lack of badge and the fact that I want to see most of the bands at the Subpop showcase (which apparently will have advanced tix, unlike the Merc) is making me think that seeing those guys is not going to happen. Bummer.

As per their website, Viva Voce will be playing at Mercury Lounge on 9/14 also as part of CMJ. I wonder if seeing them live will live up to their awesome material.

the 9/14 show also has John Vanderslice, and Acqueduct w/ Vanderslice on at 12:30.

That post confused me for a sec. Thought that you meant Aqueduct were performing with Vanderslice.
Glad Aqueduct are coming back to town. They put on such a great show. Need to find out the set times for the Theory 8 showcase on the 14th.
