"If you weren't impressed by CMJ Music Marathon's all-star cast yet, this should do it: Canada's bubble-rocking New Pornographers (September 15th at the Bowery Ballroom) and the legendary upsetter Lee "Scratch" Perry (September 17th at Brooklyn's Warsaw) have been added to the festival's ever-expanding lineup bill. Also added to the festival's FilmFest were two brand-new films—the Joaquim Phoenix-powered Johnny Cash biopic Walk The Line and Stay, a "mind-bending thriller" starring Scottish, Jedi heartthrob Ewan MacGregor.
