Neil Gaiman is NOT going to be there on 8/17 -- CB's and/or Ticketweb got it wrong. He said on his blog today that it will be on 9/17 -- which happens to fall right at the end of CMJ (and is the same night as Wolf Parade/Bowery B).

Aaargh. I'm wondering whether to contact Ticketweb for a refund or hope that Gaiman ends early...

A follow-up: Ticketweb has cancelled that event and refunded tickets; Gaiman is now unsure whether it'll be 9/17 or 9/18 (am praying for the latter).

this was one of the most important concerts I have ever attended. Steve had a fantastic band and he did mostly Traffic songs. Hardly and 80's pop stuff, the ones he chose of those were excellent choices.

Thanks so much BV for letting us know about this one before it sold out!!
