P-fork says Architecture In Helsinki will be at Warsaw on Mon 10/3 (not on sale yet). Seriously though, what's with all the bands at Warsaw all of a sudden???

Yup, Chris is right; can't find any ticket info anywhere. I hope the only show in the area ISN'T at Nokia Theater (I hate that name, BTW). Arghhh!!!

Yeah, even Warsaw's website has been updated (RARE!!!) and there is NO spoon.

Nokia Theatre's site also no longer lists the Spoon show and all of these dates have been removed from Spoon's site. hmmm...
Posted by Chris | September 6, 2005 3:29 PM
The dates are still on Spoon's site here:
http://www.spoontheband.com/site.html
However, the Nokia Theater show is listed on Ticketmaster's site (though the Warsaw show isn't; odd). Here's the link:
http://www.ticketmaster.com/artist/772074
Tickets go on sale on the 16th.

For some reason I now only see shows up to ACL and none of these new ones...maybe it's just my browser.
Spoon was listed on the Nokia Theater site last week, but it's not there anymore...

having just seen SPOON at the ..... hate to even say it, the Nokia Theatre, i now think there is a great need to create a ban on this venue. band was great, tight, musically brilliant and the show simply sucked. everything that is wrong with the music industry, with this town, this country for that matter is summed up in that show. corporate america and their neo-nazi security guards and nasty middle america logo emblazened veues with product walls have taken over. we used to think that big brother would be government, but this show sadly illustrates that we have let corporations run the show...... even in the last bastion of humanity, NYC. please bring back the vomit and beer stained carpets, the fire trap doors, the pushers, the strip clubs and the whores. anything would be better than the stupifying bordom of this awful venue. never again

Get yee to CBGB's whilst yee can.
Or will the (corporate) CBGB's logo live on long after the club closes its doors?

Wait, the problem with the music industry is making a professional venue with maximum convenience and minimum macho bullshitting about "vomit and beer"? A place where anyone of any height can see the stage, a place where the sound is amazing, a place where if you are not in the mood for standing, there's plenty of good seating?
Seriously, Christopher. You are a MASSIVE TURBODOUCHE. Fucking elitist moron, too.

give me vomit and beer stains any day. this is the saddest excuse for a rock venue that i've ever witnessed. i agree completely with christopher's statements and if that makes me a "turbodouche", so be it. (what the fuck is a turbodouche anyway?)
