Brooklyn African Festival

It was the 14th Annual Brooklyn African Festival (July 31, 2005) in Propsect Park (Brooklyn, NY), featuring music by Thomas Mapfumo and the Blacks Unlimited, Gokh-Bi System, Maria De Barrow, Kakande, and Alain Nkossi Konda.

I think it was the first time I ever witnessed a 100% Vegan Caribbean food stand featuring choices like curried ungoat and jerk unduck.

then you need to go to the uptown juice bar on 125th street and lenox ave. it's all vegan carribean/west indian food.

Don't forget Strictly Roots, 123 and Adam Clayton Blvd. All Carribean Vegetarian and great ginger beer.

I LOVE VEGGIE CASTLE THE PEOPLE THERE ARE SO NICE. I LOVE THE ATMOSPHERE, THE MUSIC AND THEY HAVE THIS ONE PRETTY GIRL THERE SHE IS SO CUTE. U PROBABLY SEEN HER SHE HAS BLACK HAIR KINDA CHUNKY PRETTY FACE. LONG HAIR. LOOKS A LITTLE INDIAN. BEAUTIFUL SMILE

I luv veggie castle. Best food on earth. great prices and the give great portions. I eat there everyday. you have to check it out if ur vegan or not
