I just watched Bowie perform Life on Mars at Fashion Rocks on TV. He had a black eye and a bandage on his arm (as the picture proves). Was it a tribute to New Orleans or something? When Arcade Fire joins him, they're gone.

P.S. Someone please make Mark McGrath go away.

uh...did anyone else notice that they played BJM song on a commercial starring Jessica Stam right after this performance and once again later?

BJM, trying to make it clear for everyone since I know we are all in denial, stands for Brian Jonestown Massacre.

I saw that - it was a BCBG commercial. Madness. Wonder if Anton even knows.

Yeah. I was curious about the bruises and bandages thing as well. At first I thought maybe he was doing it in regards to the cover of The Lodger. But then I thought it wouldn't explain why he did "Life On Mars?". But then that song does include alot of fighting references...Anyone hear any explanations?

Bowie is a class above - most still don't comprehend this talent.
