* One night earlier Nouvelle Vague (French for new wave, Portuguese for bossa nova) were covering new wave songs with French accents at Joe's Pub.
NOTE: Jorge is at Bowery Ballroom again tonight (Sept 12). Go!!

It's spelled "PortugUese". Also, "Seu" is an expression that means "Mr.", and Jorge is his actual first name, so you might not want to call him that.

"Seu" also means "Your". That was the original intention by Seu Jorge.
