That is awesome I loved those two irving plaza Gang of four shows. I always thought that Les Savy Fav have a kind of Gang of Four thing going.

If only the Go4 were playing on September 17th at the new Hard Rock! Or are they?...

How is it possible that I could be standing right behind Tim Harrington all night and not show up in any of your photos? Interestingly, I'm almost positive that one of his buddies (also not in your photos) is Matt Gentling, bassist for Archers of Loaf.

i think i was standing near you judging by your shots that have the back of Tim Harrington's head. the vocals seemed a bit drowned out but they were still great.

it was a cool night. felt like a tourist being up above 14th street.

i heard someone there mention that Morningwood, one of this boards favorite bands :), is going to be the main support on their US tour. if thats true, thats pretty cool i think.

For the person who felt like a tourist being above 14th Street: I know what you mean here, but I don't think the question is being above 14th Street (I work on the Upper East Side and live in Queens and am hardly a "tourist"; there are other people in this city besides those who live below 14th Street), but rather being in that immediate area (Times Square), which I hate with a passion and which I try to avoid as much possible partially because of all the tourists (cue Gang of Four's "At Home He's a Tourist"; ha ha) but mostly for the crowdedness and crass commercialism.

Regardless, I was at the Go4 show as well and I stood literally right next to Tim Harrington the entire time (I was directly to his left) and I'm also a bit dismayed that I'm not in any of your pictures, BV.
