"NYC's Concerts for the Gulf Coast. 100% of all ticket sales will benefit the victims of Hurricane Katrina.For each ticket purchased with any American Express® card, American Express will donate an additional $20 per ticket to the relief efforts. The donation is not tax-deductible for Cardmembers.

Scheduled to perform: Bette Midler, Diana Krall, Elton John, Elvis Costello, Jimmy Buffett, John Fogerty, Lenny Kravitz, Simon & Garfunkel, Stevie Nicks, Allen Toussaint, Buckwheat Zydeco, Clarence "Frogman" Henry, Dave Bartholomew, Dirty Dozen Brass Band, Fats Domino, Irma Thomas, Kermit Ruffins, The Meters, The Neville Brothers, The Rebirth Brass Band, and Troy "Trombone Shorty" Andrews."

Note that the concert will be available on nationwide Pay Per View channels for $19.95 and that all proceeds from the sale of the PPV event will got to several different relief organizations including Habitat for Humanity, MusiCares and The Children's Health Fund. There's a way across the nation to support this concert and its intended beneficiaries.
