Given the current situation in the Gulf Coast, it should be mentioned this is a JDub benefit, and not a Katrina benefit. Or at least it doesn't say it is anywhere.

good call. I thought it was a Katrina benefit. Further digging reveals they planned it before Katrina. I guess it's his parting gift to JDub since he just signed to a major. I bet they give some of the money to hurricane relief.

word, this was in the making for quite a while and truth be told, was rather necessary. Jdub is a not for profit building community through innovative Jewish music and cross cultural dialogue. Nevertheless, a portion of proceeds is being donated to Katrina relief efforts and we're promoting/supporting a few upcoming Katrina benefit events as well
