I hate webster hall. They stopped letting people in downstairs even though it wasn't even close to full and it was impossible to see anything upstairs. I eventually just got pissed off and left. I will not be going back to webster hall for a long long time if ever.

It was sold out. State law limits the maximum occupancy of a concert venue dude. Just because there was room doesn't mean they should put more people in there. They can't keep packing people in there

Your 2 comments just made me remember 2 things:

1) There were firemen checking out the venue when I got there.
2) The downstairs area was the most comfortable I've ever seen it.

very interesting.

As a general rule, I don't like that place, either (no draft beer, expensive drinks, overcrowded and bad sound=unhappy incarag with the exception of Franz Ferdinand and Kaiser Chiefs, who were both excellent there when I saw them) and the fact that firemen were checking out the place and it was comfortable means that they were being inspected for a possible violation of the fire code.

When I booked shows in college, this happened once and I wasn't allowed to let people back in who had already been inside because the firemen who were checking out the area wouldn't let me let more people in when I was working the door.

The more people the more expencive drinks are. Why would they have draft in there?
