Random Eugene Mirman Encounter
Late Friday night (Sept 23, 2005) I was walking down 11th Street in Manhattan when I came upon a camera crew outside Rififi. They were filming recent Sub Pop-signee Eugene Mirman who actually performs at Rififi almost every Wednesday night (the "Invite them Up" show). He was talking about his love for the Trachtenburg Family Slideshow Players. I assume it was for the DVD the Trachtenburgs are making. As usual, every word coming out of Eugene's mouth was hilarious. I snapped the photo with my phone.
