Here's my review: I had so much to do last minute to get ready for Montreal (which I'm leaving for any second), I never made it to Webster Hall last night for SPIN's 20th Anniversary party.

According to Chris, J Mascis and DMC from Run-DMC made surprise appearances, Lady Sovereign's set was pushed back, and Public Enemy was great.

My take on it is up.

That review from "Chris" is retarded. Griff has been "back" with P.E. for years. And Juliette Lewis' album is the "worst" record he's heard? Worse than Ashlee? Worse than Limp Bizkit's EP? What a tool.

I wouldn't be caught dead listenig to Ashlee or Limp Biscuit. Excuse me while I take my medication for my retardation.

I thought that your review was great, Chris. It made me feel like I was there and that's the purpose of a review IMO. With that said, though the lineup was indeed incredible, I'm glad that I didn't go now. The high ticket price, the fact that it was a Spin party, the fact that it was at Webster Hall and my thinking that all of the artists would get short sets made me stay away and I'm glad I did despite the high caliber of artists playing.

And as for DMC, I don't why he's doing that, either. Run had been covering his parts for years before Jay died and RUN DMC was no more since DMC just can't hack it anymore.

Just want to say that I am not the Chris who wrote that review. I need to pick a new name to go by.
