The King of France played Mercury Lounge in NYC on August 30, 2005. They went on before Alec Ounsworth and the Pelican Picnic.

* You might recognize the drummer. He's writer Michael Azerrad.
* On keyboards: Matt from RANA. (it was his 2nd show with KOF)
* The King of France appear on MTV ("30 times a day") in a promotional spot for The Real World Austin. (see their news page for more)
