I was at the Scenic show as well and it was hands down my favorite of everything I saw at CMJ. I can't believe you were able to get such great pictures considering the madness that was this show. They're coming back in November, huh? I'll be there!

I shot good video of this. Unfortunately they hired dick-for-brains to do their sound, and he unplugged my audio, so I don't know that I'll ever put it up.

What I only found after was that the singer of The Strays, who opened, is Toby Marriott - son of Steve Marriott of the (Small) Faces.

caught the towers in chicago with the strays opening,must say it was one of the best bills i'v seen in a while.donnies presence is second to none,while marriott,the singer for the strays has one of the best voices since kurt cobain(must run in the family)hope they play again in chicago soon

i went to see then at newcastle carling academy and meet them b4 hand and they were amazing, didnt get any picks though coz my phone got broke after i took some, it was crazyness there i thought donny was gunna jump on a security gard

Oh my god I just can't get enough of towers of london they are all hot, i love the photos i'm not even 18 yet but I desparately want to go to a gig I thnk they are an amazing band and I would love to see them live. is it true they are wife beaters they seem so cute especially donny and the rev awwww I wish I could meet them someday but who knows good things come to those who wait HOPEFULLY !!!!! I have seen the rev at a crappy scarecrow festival at Wray near Carnforth, Lancashire not very punk is it! He was stroking the sheep and it was actually quite cute. i wish i'd have got his autograph I really regret it now.

This is awesome. Can't believe I missed seeing Towers in NYC (or Chicago for that matter). It sounds like a legendary show. Thanks for posting these pics. You captured a moment in r n' r history ;-)
