Jamiroquai Dynamite 2005 Tour
@ Nokia Theatre Times Square, New York NY

The year was 1992 when Giant Step presented Jamiroquai’s debut show in the US and their long overdue return to these shores is the perfect way to toast 15 years of funkin’. Jay Kay & Co emerged as one of the leaders of the nu-funk movement in the post-acid jazz era and their danceable disco grooves and sci-fi funk harmonies are all over their new album Dynamite. New York City is gearing up to host two nights of electrifying performances and your attendance is requested.

Thursday, October 27
Ben Watt DJ Set
@ Cielo, New York NY

Ben Watt’s most recent sets started blending new electro-minimalism with his trademark deep tender-tough house sound, creating a whole new journey that is refreshing and rocking. Come down to the intimate club, Cielo, to pay respect to the forward thinking DJ and to hear what sort of boogie beats he has in his bag of tricks this time. And be sure to fetch your tickets beforehand to avoid the block-stretching lines at the door.

Giant Step 15th Anniversary Reunion feat. the ORIGINAL GIANT STEP CLUB NIGHT
DJ Jazzy Nice, Richard Worth, Nappy G, Genji Sirasi, Itaal Shur + more
@ S.O.B.'s, New York NY

Giant Step’s 15 Year celebration month will end where it all began - on an early Fall night at S.O.B.’s in 1990 where musicians and DJs made beautiful music together. On October 30th for one night only Giant Step brings back the legendary original Giant Step crew featuring DJ Jazzy Nice, Richard Worth on flute, Nappy G on percussion, Genji Siraisi on drums and Itaal Shur on keyboards. For those who grew up hearing about the old-skool legendary Giant Step parties, this is a dream come true – a night of jazzy, funky hip-hop, Giant Step-style, that you won’t forget.
