« Clap Your Hands Say Yeah sign to Wichita | Sufjan Stevens @ Bowery Ballroom (benefit), NYC | pics »
Due to circumstances beyond my control, I arrived at the Bowery Ballroom Salvation Army benefit (Oct 3, 2005) too late to see Other Passengers, Grizzly Bear, Akron/Family, and special guest Wooden Wand (no Strokes or Decemberists). I got there in time to see Adam Green though. Though not evident from the pictures, he was playing with a full band.

I wasn't crazy about Adam Green's schtick. Seems he thinks he's funnier than he actually is.
Interesting, distinctively deep voice, but he hasn't yet gained control of it.
And the songs are kinda meh.

Actually, it was for the Salvation Army, not the Red Cross.

I wasn't there, but I like that one picture where he knows he's looking right into BV's camera. Love me, Internet.
