ha.

from pitchfork:
"In a contemporary context, The Go! Team-- not to be confused with Calvin Johnson's highly inferior 1980s collective of the same name"

His site says he is playing with Tender Forever and The Brrr. The Brrr's myspace page says they are playing at The Hobo House in Long Island City. What the hell?

His site says he is playing with Tender Forever and The Brrr. The Brrr's myspace page says they are playing at The Hobo House in Long Island City tomorrow, not a house party in Huntington Station (which is bizarre). What the hell?

He is also playing Sidewalk Cafe on Wednesday wtih Tender Forever (from France) and Rachel Lipson (Rough Trade Records) But go see Old Time Relijun at Knitting Factory Tap Bar this Wednesday and put away your No New York Compilations.

So what's the story with this house party tonight? Start time? Cost/free?

Calvin Johnson's band was SOOO much better than the curent piece of crap calling tislef the Go! Team

not to mention that at least that terrible name was sort tongue and cheek to Calvin and friends - unlike that awful flash in the pan band out there today.

Three phrases should be among the most common in our daily usage. They are: Thank you, I am grateful and I appreciate.
