NY Press Dumps Mr. Wiggles
MR WIGGLES, THE ANTI-VEGAN
This sucks. I looked forward to reading Neil Swaab's sick and twisted cartoon each week.
"Long story short, the new editors have decided that after five years in the paper, my popular comic strip, Rehabilitating Mr. Wiggles, didn't fit into their vision of the paper. So they fired me. Over e-mail. Wouldn't even bother to do it over the phone or in person which is kind of crappy to do to someone who's helped define the paper for the past five years. Anyway, that about sums it up." that is kind of big headed to say about yourself that NYC got a lot less funny because your cartoon got canceled.

i guess it's probably to be expected from a rag as shoddy as NY press. even disregarding their pretty obvious right-wing slant, their writing eschews any trace of decent journalism. the only reason i ever pick it up is for rehabilitating mr. wiggles and the perry bible fellowship (which i think is funnier).
