Arctic Monkeys remind David Bowie of Action
"Meanwhile, Bowie has become the last rock star to give The Arctic Monkeys his seal of approval, after watching them at a show in New York last week. Bowie explained what he thought of the highly-rated Sheffield quartet in a posting on his official website. He explained: 'Popped in to see The Arctic Monkeys at the Bowery Ballroom Wednesday night. They had some good songs, a great drummer and generally rocked the house. A nice solid Brit band. Personalities sort of reminded me of a young Action (if anyone remembers them).' [Launch]
Other big names at the Arctic Monkeys show were The New York Times and NME. And in related news, Bowie is returning to film.

Too bad you have your head stuck on the island of Great Britain. You missed a great concert last night at Glasshouse Gallery. BARR, Hawney Troof, Matt & Kim and Hey Willpower. Have you stopped listing locals who play or weekly concerts altogether?

What is bowie's problem?
He always attaches himself to todays hot bands.
At least he is more revelant than the mick jagger.

If Arctic Monkeys are the next Arcade Fire, consider me Miles Davis.

How do I always manage to miss the ONE show that David Bowie chooses to attend? I swear the man's avoiding me.
