Bitter Sub Pop Employee | Postal Service Gold FS

SPONGE BOB & A POSTAL SERVICE GOLD RECORD
Postal Service Gold Record

One disgruntled ex-employee is selling a Postal Service gold record on E-Bay...

"After my departure from Sub Pop Records in June of this year I took a spiritual journey to find my ancestral roots in the continent known as Eurasia. As I traveled I became more in touch with myself and began to realize that there are bigger things to life then money and so called 'Indie Cred.'....." Used to be disgruntled ex-employees "went postal". Now they "sell Postal".

I've been waiting to use the word "turbo-douche" since I read about it a few days ago in that Guardian article about bloggers. He's jaded about the music business so he wants to start his own indie-rock PR firm? It sounds less like he wants a revolution and more like he just got tired of working for someone else, which is fine, but all the "travelling to Eurasia to find my true self" stuff sounds misguided and pretentious at best.

I love it, he's going to better the world by starting a PR firm. Fucking hilarious. Add to that his take on swordfish being a better choice than steak - swordfish stocks worldwide have been depleted 90% in 20 years, plus their bodies are full of higher traces of mercury than have ever been recorded in fish. You're better off eating the domesticated cow you dumbass. These are the kinds of people who work at Subpop. With the exception of Joan HIller they all suck.

This guy can't write. His item description is rife with grammatical errors and run-on sentences. More important, how can he claim that he is 'owed' $6000.00 for that record? I'm positive he was paid for all the promotion he did for Subpop. He makes it seem like the gold record was the only compensation he received for his work.
