"Longtime hip-hop colleagues Mos Def and Talib Kweli will team for a fall tour under the heading Breed Love Odyssey, marking their first appearances together since a one-off reunion of their group Black Star earlier this year at the Coachella festival. ...It would be wonderful if this was a blackstar tour, but I get the impression that Mos and Kweli will split the headlining duties and perhaps perform together on 2 or 3 songs. Condiering that both artists have fallen the eff off (like limbs affected with leperocy) since each dropped their first solo albums, I would be hesitant to see them play mostly new garbaggio. Ok, now that's off my chest. Anyway, Blackstar quite easily places in my top 3 hip hop records of all time; and I think you would be hard pressed to find a better 1-2 lyrical punch ever (Eric B. and Rakim, ATLiens/Aquemini era Outkast maybe?). Perhaps $30 isn't too much to pay to hear those 3 blackstar songs live....
